You will be integral in supporting the delivery of high quality and effective performance information/reporting enabling the team to meet a range of demands from our stakeholders. Working within Data Services providing direct line-management to a small team of reporting analysts and supporting the Operations and Customer teams.

Leading a team of reporting analysts this role is responsible for developing, organising and managing delivery of robust and reliable management information to the business. It will work across the business to understand customer (internal and external) needs and tailor solutions. It will maintain data standards and ensure consistency, ensure clients adhere to group IT standards, and be responsible for co-ordinating with IT infrastructure to ensure continuity of service is maintained. 

You will be the single point of contact for reporting enquiries. Experience of delivering reporting using various criterion, defining and documenting a BAU operating model for reporting, will be highly advantageous.

Ultimately accountable for ensuring both client and operational data reports are trusted, timely, truly insightful, and delivered in a way which makes it meaningful to the user.

Your skills and background:

Essential:

  • Expert in leading data report production in a customer-centric business who can demonstrate understanding of leading client-facing report delivery.
  • Ability to lead reporting analysts 
  • A high level of mathematical ability
  • Demonstratable experience with programming languages, such as SQL
  • Understanding of healthcare reporting requirements is an advantage 
  • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines in line with business needs.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion.
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required.

Desirable:

  • Relevant experience within a healthcare setting
