Wilson Recruitment are seeking a Transport Clerk for our client in Irlam for immediate start on a temp to perm basis

We are looking for someone with prior knowledge of the transport industry to work as a Transport Clerk in Irlam, working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. NO WEEKENDS

Job role
• Day to day management of 8 drivers
• Ability to deal with call volumes and on the spot problem solving
• Brief and debriefing of drivers routes/trunks
• Defect raising, chasing and filing
• Driver hours understanding including tacho management
• Paperwork sortation for the day time deliveries
• System management (route running board)
• Typical transport office type jobs
• PC literate
• Good communication skills
• Experience within Microsoft, in particular excel
• Data analysing
• Building reports to be issued to management
• Basic DBS will be submitted so no current live convictions please

Shift – 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
Rate of pay – £13 ph
