As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead with a team of around 10 colleagues across three supported housing schemes for homeless young adults and adults with enduring mental health. Your role involves guiding the team through assessments, making sure every customer entering the scheme gets a thorough assessment and a personalized support plan. You'll be a experienced at collaborating with different outside agencies to ensure our customers get the support they need to thrive.

Your will ensure that the schemes comply with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements. You’ll be a great ambassador for Bromford, overseeing assessments with our customers to ensure they are housed correctly on our schemes as well as consulting with them to gain feedback to make sure our services are fit for purpose and always improving.

This role is full time and permanent. You’ll be based at our Woodlands Scheme in Telford (TF7 5QZ) with travel to other schemes in the local area required. This role is subject to an Enhanced and Adult Barred List DBS check.

We want you to be somebody who:

  • Has experience of managing a front-line customer facing team
  • Has experience in working in homelessness services, supported housing or related roles providing advice and guidance.
  • Is committed to coaching and developing colleagues and ensuring they reach their full potential
  • Is well organised, comfortable in making their own decisions and is a problem solver
  • Will meet the needs of customers, commissioners and the wider community, whilst ensuring that service delivery is in line with Bromford’s policies and procedures
  • Will show confidence when articulating services to customers, colleagues, commissioners, and partner agencies
  • Is comfortable reporting and maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information, including the handling of safeguarding concerns
  • Has a full, clean driving licence – your role will involve some travel and an expectation to work flexibly
