Job Description

National Care Group (NCG) is a leading provider of care and support services to vulnerable adults throughout the United Kingdom. We work closely with the people we support, their family members, local authorities and care providers to provide high quality, person-centred support across the following services: supported living, residential care, outreach & home support, and day services.

Due to a period of significant growth, National Care Group are currently recruiting. We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of technical projects from initiation to completion. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards. This role requires strong communication, and technical skills.

The successful candidate should be-able to demonstrate a passion for IT and technical Projects. The role is based on a hybrid model and ideally the successful candidate will be located close to our Accrington office.

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that include scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate resources, both human and material, ensuring availability and allocation according to project needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards, conducting regular reviews and testing to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and track budget utilization, making adjustments as necessary to stay within budget constraints.
  • Timeline Management: Monitor project progress against established timelines, identifying and addressing any delays or obstacles.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience of prioritizing own workload, the ability to self-manage under pressure to produce accurate work and meet deadlines
  • Experience of Technical projects
  • An active interest in General IT especially in fault finding, diagnosing issues and finding solutions
