We are looking for a Step 2 Senior Team Leader in the Kent & Medway NHS Talking Therapies Service.

This is an excellent opportunity to help lead and shape our Step 2 service as part of a close-knit and supportive senior team.  As a Senior Step 2 Team Lead you will manage, supervise and lead a team of Step 2 team leaders, provide assessments and low intensity treatment and contribute to the operational development and clinical management of the Step 2 service. There will also be the chance to be involved in projects to improve service delivery.

Please note this is a hybrid role working in the Kent & Medway area.  

Key Experience required:

Essential:

  • IAPT Low intensity Worker/PWP Cert/Dip
  • Demonstrable post-qualifying experience of delivering Low Intensity interventions 
  • BABCP/BPS registered
  • Experience of risk-management
  • Undertaking Clinical Audit, including action planning
  • Experience of providing line management
  • Experience of providing supervision
  • Commitment to improving and striving for clinical excellence and customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships
  • Adaptive to change
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion

 Desirable:

  • Experience of leading a team to deliver evidence-based interventions 
  • IAPT Low Intensity Supervisor Training
  • Able to analyse information and write reports and present and argument
