Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as an Effluent Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the smooth running of the effluent plant and its operatives
• Ensuring compliance with Environment Agency regulations
• Testing of effluent discharge and maintaining accurate records of test results
• Stock control of chemicals
• Clearing blocked drains in the factory

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Good communication and organisatonal skills
• A full driving licence
• English language skills with the ability to read, write and speak English
• Self motivation and a flexible and systematic approach to work

Previous experience in a food manufacturing or similar role would be advantageous

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to consumers via major retailers. Our colleagues work across ten primary sites across the UK, where chickens are transported from nearby farms for processing and at our cutting sites prepared for portioning, deboning, and filleting. UK Poultry predominantly produces private-label products for major retailers.
