Lewisham College requires a dedicated, enthusiastic and qualified person to take on the role of Lecturer in our large, well equipped Carpentry and Joinery training facility.

The main responsibilities of this role include the delivery and assessment of high quality learning programmes in Carpentry and Joinery, across a range of levels of further education or apprenticeship provision, as well as undertaking a range of programme leadership, tutorial and programme administration duties.

This post requires a strong background in Carpentry and Joinery and the candidate must have proven track record of professional / vocational expertise in the Construction sector.

The candidate must be qualified to L3 in an industry-recognised standard in a relevant field, hold a post-16 teaching qualification and English and maths qualifications at level 2, or be willing to achieve these within an agreed timeframe. It is desirable that the candidate has experience of effective programme leadership in FE or Apprenticeships and has a proven track record of successful teaching and assessment practice.
