Cleaning Operative

Based between Benjamin Court (Cromer) and Lloyd Court (Holt)

Part time, 16 hours per week, Monday – Friday (8 hours per scheme)

Starting Salary BHA B1 at £9,832 per annum, with future progression opportunities to £10,459 per annum

Permanent Contract

 

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Operative to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that we deliver an efficient cleaning service within our internal and external communal areas to the welfare of our customers, by promoting a safe and hygienic standard of accommodation. The roles’ hours will be split across two of our Housing with Care schemes.

Some of the main duties of the role will be:

  • Ensuring that cleaning is carried out to the specified and agreed standard resulting in no customer complaints.
  • Ensuring the safety of customers in assessing and carrying out cleaning requirements in all communal areas of the scheme premises
  • To contribute ideas to the development and improvement of the cleaning service.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A high level of personal pride and dedication to providing a high- quality cleaning service
  • The ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • At least 1 year’s previous experience within a cleaning post.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and organise day to day activities
