Hours:

Due to increased mortgage traffic coupled with excellent existing customer retention rates resulting in record maturities, we are looking to expand our current Mortgage Advice team.

You will be joining the Advice Homes Team, consisting of 27 Mortgage Advisors across 5 teams. You will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver the best customer journey possible.

What Will You Be Doing?

Our Mortgage Advisors are there to provide sound advice and a first-class service in line with the Advice Homes proposition. This includes new borrowing, additional borrowing and post contract variations. In short you’ll be at the heart of our Mortgage journey.

  • As a Mortgage Advisor you’ll provide compliant advice and recommendations as well as maintaining a high standard of service. This will be to achieve the required volumes of Mortgage business in line with Corporate Plan

  • Your appointments will be undertaken within our defined guidelines resulting in fully compliant Mortgage conversations with evidence recorded accurately to confirm customer needs are met

  • You will embrace the training provided and demonstrate the ability to apply this to mortgage knowledge, policy and processes. As well drawing on your own experience to continuously improve the customer journey

  • The key to this is building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders alike to ensure that they are not left exposed in any way

  • You will talk to our customers about their protection needs, ensuring they receive products and services that are tailored to them

What Will You Be Doing?

You must hold the relevant qualification to give mortgage advice such as CF1 and CF6 or CeMap 1,2 & 3

A key skill of a successful mortgage adviser is the ability and experience to communicate clearly and comprehensively, making the complex and confusing understandable to anyone at any level.

  • You must have sound technical market knowledge and the ability to adapt your conversations in an ever-changing market

  • In addition to this you must be able to ask the right question at the right time thus really getting a firm understanding of the customers’ needs. From this, you will provide the most robust/suitable mortgage advice. 

  • You won’t be afraid to challenge where needed
