As a result of our ongoing international expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Administrator to join our Finance & Commercial team. As a finance administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day finance operations of the business. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organised individual with a keen interest in finance.

Please note this is an office-based role from our Head Office in Birmingham City Centre, with an option to work from home one day a week after training.​ This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, all applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accounts receivable for client funds
  • Take responsibility for managing queries into shared inboxes
  • Preparation of daily and monthly control reconciliations
  • Processing invoices for payment including getting authorisations as required
  • Administration of client orders and accounts
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Liaise with external banks to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitoring client accounts/open orders for late payment
  • Monitoring unfulfilled shipments and purchase orders
  • Assist with the movement of goods between locations
  • Support the wider business and finance team as required
The Ideal Candidate

Required Experience:

  • A keen attention to detail
  • An ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be very organised in your approach to work
  • Strong IT skills, including a good knowledge of Excel

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience in retail banking, financial services or the precious metals industry
  • Proficiency working with and analysing data.
  • Experience using an accounting package such as Xero or Sage 50
