Site Services Manager

The role of Site Services Manager is based at our Value Added Thetford site and reports directly to our Head of Engineering.

It is a Mon - Fri role, contracted to 40hours per week with a Salary of £57,700 + Benefits.

Managing on-site services, including sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers for refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical power, compressed air, steam generation, water treatment, effluent handling, buildings, roadways, etc. ·

• Advising businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility

• Ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance ·

• Planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements ·

• Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects ·

• Drafting maintenance reports

• The successful candidate will be Time Served Apprentice trained or equivalent with experience in a Senior Engineering Management position. ·
• Working knowledge of steam pressure systems, management trained and exposure to the management of Ammonia and F-gas refrigeration plants. ·
• Experience managing water systems from both treatment/dosing, compliance (e.g. Legionella) and effluent treatment perspectives desirable ·
• Experience with civil and structural maintenance of building fabric and structures · IOSH/NEBOSH trained ·
• Experience of budgetary controls
