Staff for Education are working in partnership with a fantastic Primary School in the Holmewood area and we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Year 1 Teacher to start in September 2024. This is a full time, long term position.
Main Responsibilities include:
• Delivering high quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Planning differentiated lessons
• Monitoring and assessing pupils progress
• Ensuring high standards of behaviour are maintained in line with the school policy
• Be able to communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents
To be successful, you must:
• Have a PGCE or other recognised Teaching Qualification
• Have experience working within KS1
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
• Have strong behaviour management skills
