The Role:

We are seeking dynamic and inspirational leaders to oversee the development and implementation of curriculum strategies across two of our Curriculum Academies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of passionate educators, driving innovation and excellence in teaching and learning and delivering an outstanding student experience.



As Head of Department, you will lead with inspiration, vision and direction working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the curriculum and service offer is aligned to local needs.

Your role will include:

Curriculum Leadership
External Engagement and Civic Commitment
Resource Management
Departmental Oversight
Safeguarding and Prevent


Requirements:

A passion for education and a deep understanding of curriculum development principles.
Proven leadership experience in an educational setting, with a track record of driving positive change and achieving exceptional results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on creating an inclusive learning environment for all students.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
