As a Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer at Sodexo Woodbank Hotel, you will be guiding and motivating clients to achieve their fitness goals through personalised exercise plans and fitness classes. You will provide individualised instruction, support, and encouragement to clients of all fitness levels, helping them to improve their overall health and well-being. What you’ll do: 

  • Take an active role in the planning, coordination, and execution of Woodbank fitness activities and services.
  • Instruct exercise classes as appropriate to the skills, qualifications, and experience of the post.
  • Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to evaluate Woodbank clients' current fitness levels, health status, and goals in line with qualifications and Training Policy.
  • Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in fitness training, continuously expanding your knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain a professional and supportive environment in the gym or training facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Build strong rapport and communication with clients, fostering a trusting and collaborative relationship.
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to offer ideas and solutions for workflow improvement and enhancements.
  • Always comply with statutory and regulatory legislation, as well as Shell and Sodexo Health & Safety and internal policies.
  • Answer all incoming calls, emails, and instant messages politely and promptly, forwarding clients and inquiries as needed.
  • Ensure documentation and records are completed on schedule, following all policies and procedures.

What you bring:  

  • REP’s level 2 / 3 Qualification
  • Passion for Health & Fitness
  • Previous fitness instructor experience in teaching and coaching a wide range of population groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication with customers, clients, and staff at all levels.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook in addition to strong administrative work practices.

Package Description

Are you committed to transforming bodies and empowering minds, if so then we have a wonderful opportunity for you!

  • 15 hours per week
  • 1 Week Saturday & Sunday 7am - 2:30pm then 3 Weeks Monday & Tuesday 2pm - 10pm 
  • £14.48 per hour

Minimum Required Qualification REP's level 2
