Are you passionate about making a real difference in the community? We are Eastlight, and we're looking for an Income Advisor who's not just about the numbers, but about the faces behind them. In this role you will:Manage the collection and prevention of housing-related debt up to an agreed threshold.Coordinate with the Income Managers to ensure efficient debt collection processes.Manage and monitor the effective collection of housing, garage, former, and sundry debts.Attend new tenant sign-ups to ensure a smooth initiation process.Collaborate with Income Managers on managing accounts up to an agreed threshold.Provide exemplary customer service at all times.Handle upfront payments for rechargeable repairs.Advocate the most effective payment methods tailored to individual customer needs.Promote financial inclusion across the Eastlight resident community.Contribute to pertinent projects and perform other reasonable tasks within the Income team.Liaise with other departments, partners, and stakeholders for optimal case management. You will need:A genuine commitment to the principles of equality and diversity.Proven experience working in a team environment, as well as the ability to take initiative.Knowledge and experience of the legal processes involved in housing-related debt collection.An understanding of financial inclusion.Knowledge of welfare benefits and the Universal Credit process.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.Exceptional time management and organisational abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
