This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our newly formed Service Development and Financial Inclusion team, operating within the dynamic Revenues and Benefits service under the Finance division.
We are looking for someone who can make a real impact by providing strong leadership and management within our Revenues and Benefits service, championing the development of our service and of our newly established Debt and Money Advice team.

In this pivotal role, you'll report directly to the Assistant Director for Revenues and Benefits, providing robust professional leadership and spearheading a range of high-profile projects. Your responsibilities will encompass driving transformative initiatives, identifying innovative solutions, and enhancing service delivery across the board.
You'll also take the reins in managing the delivery of a high-quality Financial Inclusion service, shaping strategy, formulating policies, and extending crucial cross sector services to support residents experiencing severe financial hardships.
About youWe're seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for driving positive change and delivering results. Your ability to establish effective working relationships both internally and externally will be critical in identifying opportunities for collaboration and service improvements.
You will have a proven ability to understand, interpret, and explain complicated legislation, coupled with knowledge and experience in Revenues and Benefits software systems.
Exceptional communication skills are paramount, as you'll be liaising with diverse stakeholders, including team members, clients, and landlords, demonstrating adept negotiation skills along the way.
Collaboration is key, and you should thrive both within a team environment and when working autonomously. Your ability to meet deadlines, adeptly manage workloads, and prioritise tasks will be invaluable in driving our success.
