What you'll do
  • Coordinate a team to ensure an appropriate level of stock holding throughout the Greggs Network to maximise availability for onward distribution to manufacturing sites and shop.
  • Identifying areas of continuous improvement to reduce; waste, costs of orders, stock holding and transport costs. 
  • Involvement in a variety of projects that will include potentially repurposing existing operations where appropriate
  • Ensure robust communication with cross functional stakeholders and suppliers around inventory.
  • Liaising with site teams to ensure operations are running smoothly and promoting effective working relationships.
  • Driving change initiatives throughout the team
  • Monitor functional Key Performance Indicators and develop action plans to improve performance
  • Ensuring there is a clear focus on giving our customers the best level of service we can, both internally and externally
About you
  • Have at least 2 years experience in Supply Chain Replenishment Planning
  • Experience of managing a team

  • Have an ability to manage data, analyse and solve problems and have an excellent working knowledge of planning systems

  • Ability to work at a pace and manage multiple deadlines within challenging timescales
  • Are results focused with strong planning, prioritising and organisation skills
  • Are self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and using own initiative

  • Have advanced Excel skills to support with analysis and the ability to work with large data sets

  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience of analysing information and issues to identify current and potential problems and develop and implement workable solutions

  • Able to engage and work collaboratively with other teams to make improvements to processes and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • A good communicator, able to operate at all levels clearly and concisely with the proven ability to communicate complex data terminology so it is understood by the data owner and the business
