In your role as Mobile Catering Assistant at Sodexo in Staffordshire / Walsall, you will work within the catering team at our esteemed schools, making sure that our vibrant meals are served with a smile and that the kitchen and restaurant are operating efficiently.  We are passionate about providing high-quality, nutritious, fresh, and sustainable food for our younger generation, we're fully committed to supporting a healthy diet. This is an opportunity to positively influence people daily, supporting the growth of your team and advancing your own career with a leading global services company!  

What you do:   

• Assist with set up and service of hot and/or cold meals.
• Sanitise and clean workstations and equipment.
• During meal times, serve and restock food from counters and steam tables, tidy up stations, and follow recipes or product instructions to estimate food requirements.
• Engage with students in the eating, retail, and serving areas.
• Travel as and when required to sites providing support

What you bring:

• Capability to work for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours) in a standing position.
• Professionalism, respect for others, and a positive attitude
• Fundamental food handling abilities
• Prior experience preferred, however, not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence required for this position and own vehicle required for this role.

• £13.00 per hour
• 20 hours per week
• Working pattern:  Monday to Friday 
• Term Time only (39 week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks) **
• This position requires and Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSED

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**
