40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 including weekends (covering hours of 06:00-22:30)

About the Job

As Duty Manager you will be reporting to the Assistant General Manager. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all processes and creating a positive work environment for employees. Ultimately, you will ensure all operations flow smoothly and help us meet our company goals.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide first class customer service to all users of the facility
  • Oversee daily operation & security of the facility
  • Coordination of events and activities
  • Supervise and coordinate regular maintenance and cleaning of the facilities
  • Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns & report on the management system
  • Perform pool hygiene & safety checks
  • Address any customer issues and complaints

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have previous supervisory experience in the leisure & hospitality or service industries and the ability to communicate clearly, influence and motivate staff. Experience of working within a Health & Safety critical environment with the ability to understand and implement legislation in the operational environment is essential.


Qualifications Required

  • Ideally hold or work towards a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
  • Ideally hold or work towards a First Aid at Work Qualification
  • Ideally hold or work towards a Pool Plant Operator Qualification
