We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to come and join our Finance team based out of our office in Preston Brook! We are looking to offer a basic salary between £27,000 - £32,000 depending on skills and experience.

• Posting of bank entries and reconciling bank accounts
• Processing monthly journals covering areas such as accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
• Certain balance sheet reconciliations as to be determined
• Uploading bank payments
• Providing cover for the transactional finance teams for holidays, sickness and during peak times including processing purchase invoices, supplier statement reconciliations and raising supplier payment runs.
• Assisting with the year end audit including gathering of audit support and documentation
• Completing data requests such as ONS returns, ESG reporting and rebates submissions
• Assisting the Management Accountant, GFC or GFD with ad hoc analysis as required
• Taking ownership of deadlines

• You will be studying towards, or be qualified in AAT, CIMA, ACCA or ACA (study support can be provided)
• Recent experience of working in a transactional finance role
• Have a willingness to learn and develop own career
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
• Able to use and manipulate data with MS Excel
