Landmarc Support Services currently have an exciting opportunity for a Gas and Heating, Maintenance Technician to join the team at both Hythe Ranges and Lydd Camp, on Romney Marsh and surrounding areas on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out Landlord Gas Safety Inspections and action remedial works where required.
  • To complete certification and work orders in a timely manner in line with our KPIs.
  • To liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective site delivery e.g. asset users (including tenants), the Employers representatives and contractors.
  • Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to, conducting all necessary risk assessments, method statements and other safe systems of work when required.
  • Maintain competence, skills and abilities within relevant disciplines attending further training courses when required.
  • Drive and operate fleet vehicles, travelling to other regional sites where necessary.
  • Accept appointment as Authorised Person (AP) for safe systems of work in relevant skills discipline as required to support the business.
  • Work as part of an On-call rota where required (Outside of normal working hours).
The Ideal Candidate
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in both domestic & commercial natural gas installation
  • Gas Safe and OFTEC qualified
  • CWST Cleaning and Disinfection Qualified
  • Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation (Air Handling Units) but also Air conditioning (HVAC) (Desirable)
  • Health and Safety qualified – IOSH Working Safely (Desirable)
  • Other supporting qualifications relating to domestic and commercial gas and heating (desirable)
  • Knowledge of H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Experience of communicating with customers
