The Vacancy

Newcastle College have an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting learners to achieve their potential. The successful instructor will have the opportunity to work across multiple industry standard college sites and will be a fundamental part of the Engineering and Energy departments. The Instructor role includes supporting learners across both departments to further develop skills and knowledge allowing them to achieve their potential and progress to their chosen next steps.

The College are seeking a candidate that can work collaboratively and effectively with curriculum teams and young people to secure the very best outcomes for each individual. Ideally they will have experience of preparing and adapting learning materials to support the learner journey and will be confident supervising learners in a range of environments.

The candidate must have qualifications and/or experience of the Engineering sector ideally including renewable engineering technologies, experience of teaching and /or assessing would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have experience of using computer software such as Microsoft applications and ideally have applied these in a teaching and learning environment. Experience of supporting and facilitating individuals and groups of learners is essential, as is a proven track record of providing suitable learning resources in those settings.
