You will be joining ou r dynamic IT function, with a department consisting of c120 skilled professionals. We are an enabling function collaborating with stakeholders across the business to drive ambitious initiatives within the Homes and Money business divisions.

As a Performance Manager, your role will be to lead colleagues within our innovative Scrum Teams, driving impactful change, and contributing to the collective success of the department and the broader organisation.

What Will You Be Doing?

As an experienced leader, you will play a pivotal role in optimising the performance of colleagues within scrum teams working in collaboration with the Product Owner and Scrum Master.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Le ading a team of colleagues involved in significant transformation projects, ensuring the skills and capabilities of colleagues are aligned with change initiatives.

  • Identifying colleague development needs and aligning development activities with organisational priorities, learning strategies, and career pathways.

  • Overseeing professional development frameworks, this includes providing direction on skills mapping, learning paths, talent management, and succession planning to colleagues and peers across the department.

  • Assisting the IT Enablement Manager in implementing relevant people processes across the IT function, ensuring consistency across teams to advance the long-term colleague plan.

  • Conducting skills gap analysis to identify workforce strengths and areas needing improvement in alignment with business strategy and future demand.

  • Monitoring employee engagement levels through various feedback mechanisms and leveraging this information to enhance engagement across the department.
