As our new Accounts Payable Senior Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable function. By sharing your knowledge with other team members, you will provide ongoing training and support and help support their development.

What you'll be doingLeading, training and developing a team of administrators in the day-to-day processing of invoices
Responsible for clearing down the GRNI in line with the monthly timetable
Reconciliation of supplier statements and escalation point for query resolution
Responsible for clearing aged invoices and managing the timely processing of unapproved invoices
To contribute to the period end reporting timetable, completion of required tasks.
Point of contact for queries and escalations for Suppliers and internal Managers
Process reviews to ensure efficient ways of working within the team
To support AP Supervisor as and when necessary with ad hoc tasks
You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
You’re analytical, with excellent attention to detail and operate with a high level of accuracy
Time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Self-motivation and flexibility with strong organisational, planning and administrative skills
Purchase ledger systems and processes
Experience of supporting new technologies and/or system changes
Experience of working within Retail/Manufacturing environment, and the previous use of Open Accounts would be advantageous
