We are looking for a skilled People and Development (HR) Assistant to join our team of talented individuals. Based in Newcastle College, you will work alongside People and Development (P&D) colleagues across NCG to provide a high-quality customer service, supporting internal and external stakeholders on all people-related activity. Reporting into an experienced P&D Business Partner, you will have opportunities to grow and develop your HR career.
You will act as a point of contact for both designated managers and candidates ensuring we provide an excellent experience at the beginning of colleagues’ journeys with NCG. Supporting transactional changes throughout the employee life cycle, you will navigate and administer our HR/People systems, processes, and policies, providing front line advice, support, and guidance where appropriate.
As P&D Assistant you will be responsible for:
Supporting managers with HR queries,
Working alongside colleagues to create a fantastic candidate experience,
Timely processing of all administration associated with the full NCG recruitment lifecycle and the colleague journey,
Carrying out relevant data input on the P&D people systems,
Driving compliance and a high performance culture.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a customer-focused service. You will have excellent communications skills and demonstrate a customer focused approach to work.
Our P&D team is a busy and thriving department to work within, so the ability to work flexibly is essential for this role. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, with continued professional development opportunities available for the right candidate.
