Uniserve is looking for a talented Finance Analyst to join it’s Unieurope team in Tilbury, Essex. If you have a passion for financial reporting and analysis, we want to hear from you.

The role will office-based Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Manager in financial and management reporting.
  • Generate timely and accurate financial management information, including weekly and monthly P&L reporting.
  • Maintain cost provisions and accrual information.
  • Reconcile cost and revenue accounts.
  • Provide valuable analysis and insights into specific business unit performance.
  • Ensure compliance with site standards, corporate policies, and financial controls.
  • Offer holiday cover and assistance to the local Transport Finance Team.
  • Help develop standardised reports and processes.
  • Contribute to business projects, including the implementation of new site-specific contracts for warehousing and transport.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with team members and stakeholders across the site and the broader organisation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Preferred previous experience in financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Power BI would be advantageous.
  • Effective, informative communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • A commitment to driving continuous improvement.
