DC Personnel have a new and exciting permanent opportunity to work with our well established client in Norfolk as their new Applications Engineer.

Salary – £30-£40k
Hours – 08:15-17:00 Monday-Thursday & 08:15-13:00 Friday.

As an Application Engineer you will be responsible for providing applications and technical support to Global customers along with developing applications for evaluations, material testing and prototyping.

Responsibilities:

The main point of contact for the entirety of each project cycle, from initial enquiry through to installation and after care support.
Ensure compliance with industry standards is undertaken at all times.
Work closely with other departments to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness is a priority
Conduct technical studies and investigations
Produce and manage detailed design documentation for both company and client
Develop, test, and maintain software applications based on business requirements

Experience required:

Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a similar level
Good understanding of Microsoft products including Excel
Manufacturing engineering experience
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong leadership skills with the ability to multitask and oversea management on a variety of projects at one time
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environmen
Ability to anticipate any possible risks within a project, identifying and rectifying them before the incident occurs.
