DC Personnel have a new and exciting permanent opportunity to work with our well established client in Leicester as their new Manufacturing/Production Engineer

Salary : £40-£50k
Hours : 08:15-17:00 Monday-Thursday & 08:15-13:00 Friday.

Responsibilities:

Good knowledge of the process of welding for both TIG & MIG along with spot welding machines
Providing expert support for the design and development teams
Excellent knowledge of production tooling, with the ability to enhance and create processes which will in turn reduce production times, cost and improve manufacturing time and quality.
Conduct testing and analysis to validate design performance and functionality
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing processes
Provide technical support and guidance to production teams during assembly and fabrication processes

Experience required:

Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar level of experience
Manufacturing/Production engineering experience
Ability to work to strict deadlines with the ability to prioritise accordingly
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to build strong working relationships
Strong leadership skills
