DC Personnel have a new and exciting permanent opportunity to work with our well established client in Leicester as their new Internal Sales Engineer.
Salary : £30 - £40k
Hours : 08:15-17:00 Monday-Thursday & 08:15-13:00 Friday.

As an Internal Sales engineer you will be responsible for actively driving and managing the application stage of the sales process. A high understanding of resistor products is expected in order to operate a smooth running process between both the customers and other departments, with accurate and competitive quotes.
Responsibilities:
Work to targets on budget, performance and quality
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions
Prepare and deliver technical proposals and quotations
Assist in the development of sales strategies and goals
Pursue new business opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and other departments alike
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Occasional site and customer visits both Nationally and Overseas
Ensuring that customers are kept up to date through all stages of their order along with providing expert knowledge on all products enquired about
Experience required:
HNC in electrical engineering
Good IT skills including Microsoft products
Some national and international travel may be required.
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong technical aptitude and understanding of engineering principles
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Familiarity with International customers
Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
Previous experience with high power/voltage is preffered
