Our Clinical Procurement team is growing and we are starting to provide additional project based procurement support to our current client and new clients. To support this growth we are looking for a commercially astute procurement professional to join the team.

This role will sit within the clinical procurement team focusing on supporting KFM’s external business, both Private Hospital clients and other NHS Trusts, on a permanent basis.
Qualifications
Essential

Educated to degree level (or equivalent)

Evidence of continuing professional development



Desirable

Prince2 Practitioner (or equivalent)

MCIPS qualification (or equivalent experience)
Skills
Strong commercial acumen skills for understanding various business situations applying that understanding through implementing solutions to potential challenges

Strong understanding of the risks and opportunities in business

Evaluating businesses and budgets to determine their performance and suitability

Excellent range of communication skills and good interpersonal skills (oral, written and presentation)

Able to engage with people at all levels

Able to communicate effectively with suppliers

Able to deal with difficult negotiations

Able to analyse data and situations as required

Excellent project management skills and the ability to see through tasks to their successful conclusion within timescales and budgets

Accurate report writing skills

Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities

Ability to generate confidence with a range of stakeholders

Advanced user of Microsoft Office in particular Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
