Salary: Starting salary £24,496 (Level one) rising to £25,878 (Level two) (part time pro rata)

18.5 hours per week – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

About the role:

You will be part of a team within Nottingham on Call our 24/7 call monitoring service providing advice and support to elderly and disabled residents across Nottingham City and surrounding areas who use our Telecare emergency response systems. We are looking for someone to join our Assistive Technology team with passion and enthusiasm for helping others, particularly elderly and vulnerable tenants.

As an Assistive Technology Support Officer you will:

  • Provide customers, and health and care professionals with advice and information on the most appropriate Assistive Technology equipment
  • Triaging referrals and interpreting enquiries in order to identify the right assistive technology solutions to meet customer’s needs
  • Ensuring that referrals for assistive technology are processed effectively and efficiently
  • The effective management of all our assistive technology equipment ensuring that appropriate levels of equipment are maintained
  • Ensuring accurate sales information is recorded and passed onto to the relevant team members for processing
  • You will also be responsible for booking in installations for equipment ensuring that engineer time for installations is maximised.

To excel in this role, you will need to utilise your excellent communications skills to communicate complex and sensitive issues effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will also need to have an aptitude for stock management and related systems.

We are looking for someone with the ability to prioritise workloads, demonstrate self- motivation and continually demonstrate a customer focused approach to your work.
