We are currently looking for an Shift Manager to join our friendly team based at Tunstead in Buxton.

Main ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Shift Manager you will be responsible for leading a Cement plant shift team with a focus on safety, effective team working and continuous improvement both within and outside of the shift team. You will also be responsible for:
The ideal candidate for the role of Shift Manager will have experience of:
Engineer/Technical/process qualification to an NVQ level 3 or equivalent
IOSH certification
Supervisory qualification - ILM
Good appreciation of chemistry and physics of cement/chemical making process
Kiln operations certification - Cement Manufacturing
Extensive knowledge of cement manufacturing process and equipment technology.
Can demonstrate a track record in promoting safe working in the organisation with a good awareness of safety, quality and environmental issues
