We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to join Colas Ltd working on our new Cheshire West & Chester Term Maintenance contract reporting to our Business Performance and Improvement Manager

Main Responsibilities

The data analyst will be responsible for Managing Monthly Performance Reporting, Creation and maintenance of Performance graphs and tables using Excel (Xlookups, Pivots), Coordination of the collection and processing of contractual performance results, liaising with supervisors and other departments ensuring the process outputs are delivered in a timely and procedural manner.

Maintain data and computer files in accordance with the Quality Management system and requirements, carry out quality analysis, and contribute to Quality Reports and Corrective Action Plans for all aspects of Contractual Performance, prepare for and assist with Quality, Safety and Environmental audits and corrective action plans, updating KPIs and implementing dashboards into presentations and reports, attend and participate in team Briefings, Provide cover for other team Members.

To ensure that all operations carried out within your area of responsibility are undertaken with full regard for safety of visitors, other members of staff and yourself. 

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have an qualification in internal auditing, understand the requirements of the contract, have strong communication skills, good working knowledge of IT systems, ensure records are kept up to date, accuracy maintained, experience of prioritising time critical work, ability to understand and interpret contracts and contractual requirements, ability to devise and implement procedures and processes. 

Appreciation of process driven method statements, presentation and production of reports for achievement of contract PPI/KPIs, able to analyse methodically and in detail, ability to manage discrete project, good understanding of the highways maintenance operations, diplomacy and able to liaise with all levels of seniority across the company, recognise the importance of confidentiality at all times. 

Must also be able to work safely, understanding of the Vision, Mission & Values, have good communication skills, high personal organisation, strong relationship management, continuous development & innovation, flexible and positive attitude to change, problem solving/analytical thinking, decision making & accountability. 

Also be able to provide customer service by adopting positive attitudes and helpful behaviour. Appropriate knowledge of health and safety polices, job skills and technical & knowledge.
