About the Role

As Head of Operations / Head of Osterna, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of Osterna’s vision to be the ‘go to provider’ for Fire Risk Assessments and embedding our commitment to making sure that our services achieve that ambition.

This is a hybrid role, with you spending 2 to 3 days a week in our Northwich Office.

Reporting to the Director of Back Office Support, you will bring with you your previous experience of leading the day to day running of a business, having full Profit & Loss responsibility. You will be experienced keeping control of operational costs, whilst driving the long term growth, to ensure we achieve our yearly revenue and profit targets.

The health, welfare and safe working environment for your team are important aspects to the success of the business. You will have overall responsibility for a geographically dispersed team of Fire Risk Assessors with direct line reports of the Senior Fire Risk Assessor team.

As the business lead for Osterna, you will plan and communicate the commercial objectives and KPI’s across the team, whilst managing resources and incentivising staff to deliver products to clients within SLA timescales.

What are some of the skills you’ll need?

As Head of Operations / Head of Osterna, you will have exceptional leadership, influencing and problem solving skills, to continually challenge processes to improve efficiency whilst maintaining a consistently high quality service. You will promote the growth of Osterna across the Group and develop business opportunities with external clients to maximise revenue. You will also be responsible for managing Osterna’s Customer Service Team and ensure they deliver against their KPI’s.
