We are currently looking for a leasehold services officer to plan and successfully deliver our statutory s.20 consultation programme for leasehold major works and service charges. You’ll be responsible for key decisions during the coordination and delivery of section 20/20b notices, in accordance with statutory timescales and notifications.

You will also provide advice and information to leaseholders about major works, briefing the business as required, and assist with the preparation of first tier tribunals. Attending meetings when appropriate to ensure the service continues to develop, all while building effective relationships based on trust and respect.

The role is key to continuing to build customer satisfaction, so ensuring confidence in our ability to bill accurately remains high, along with our standard of finding efficient resolutions to complaints, is integral. As will the ability to identify and implement improvements in the service and maintain an up to date knowledge of service charge regulations.

This role is full time and available as a 12 month fixed term contract. You’ll based from either of our Tewkesbury (GL20 8ND) or Wolverhampton (WV10 6TB) offices with regular home working available.

You will have:

  • A relevant professional qualification or experience with leasehold and S20 regulations and administration
  • A proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and colleagues to promote joint working
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including examples of dealing with people in challenging situations
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel
  • An ability to undertake work, including a variety of advanced tasks which require detailed knowledge and skills in a specialist discipline
  • A history of being solution focussed with the ability to work unsupervised, handling a busy and varied workload
  • The skills to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, operational teams, and service support teams in their designated area of responsibility developing mechanisms and systems to promote joint working
