We have an exciting role for a DBS & TUPE Administrator at Sodexo. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Sodexo and AiP Group businesses by providing confidential and efficient administrative support for DBS and Safer Recruitment. You will process DBS checks accurately and in a timely manner, while also maintaining central registers for all school sites. Additionally, you will contribute to TUPE administration activity, ensuring smooth transitions during peak periods.
 
To be successful in this role, you are not only an organised and methodical professional, but also a driving force behind safer recruitment and child protection. Your role is essential in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our DBS processes, as well as providing support for TUPE administration
 
Position is based at Trigate Office, Birmingham, with flexibility to work from home. 
 
This role will require applicants to undergo safer recruitment checks.
 
What you’ll do:
  • Manage incoming calls and emails related to DBS queries, providing efficient and personable responses while forwarding complex queries to the Safer Recruitment and Child Protection Coordinator as needed.
  • Administer all correspondence related to applications for the Enhanced DBS Disclosure, ensuring accurate information, providing feedback on errors, and approving applications on the online service.
  • Support TUPE "In" sites in completing DBS checks promptly after transfers.
  • Assist in the collation and completion of the Central Register of Appointments for each educational establishment, ensuring accuracy and providing guidance on missing data, errors, and overseas checks.
  • Offer guidance to managers on DBS processes, ensuring compliance with policy and escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain databases and files in line with audit procedures and GDPR legislation.
  • Provide copies of the Central Register to clients or their HR representatives for inspection purposes, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date information.
 
What you bring:
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft XP, and Excel packages.
  • Previous HR experience is desirable.
  • Awareness of DBS and Safer Recruitment processes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in approaching work.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Organized, methodical, and analytical approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in effectively communicating and advising employees and management at multiple levels.
