Hello there,

If you're looking at our ad for People Advisor you’d probably like to work somewhere a little bit different.

At NATIVE, we operate great long-term residential assets all across UK. And we do it differently. We craft spaces that reflect the history of the building and the spirit of the neighbourhood. We’re not corporate, we’re friendly and great to work with. Most importantly, we create soulful, original, community-led experiences which are built around people.

Right now, we’re on a quest to find an experienced People Advisor  to join our busy Build To Rent team on a fixed term basis, initially until October 2024.

Every day is different. You’ll be the first port of call for all recruitment aspects in Native Residential, including advising line managers and managing the onboarding process as well as developing new starters.

You will also be involved in employee relations and performance management. Therefore you will be responsible for anything to do with HR for the BTR business, ensuring policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably.

This will be a hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home and from our offices. However some travel will be required, especially to our new properties.

We’re looking for people who really work by our values. At Native, we lead the way, working to be pioneers in our social and environmental impact. We’re constantly aiming to be our best, staying curious, looking for better ways to do things and really committing to them. Most importantly, we show up for each other – for our teams, our community and for the planet.

If you’re ready to be our next Native, you’ll probably have:

  • Demonstrable experience as an HR advisor, preferably with BTR but multi-property hospitality experience would be ideal.
  • Experience of volume recruitment and working with different portals and agencies to fill roles.
  • Experience of designing and developing Recruitment and Selection processes.
  • Experience of using HR and applicant tracking systems (ATS). Use of Kallidus products would be desirable.
  • Experience of using LMS and digital learning platforms. Kallidus would be desirable
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Experience of creating onboarding and induction plans.
  • Experience of note taking and investigating ER issues.
  • Good understanding of HR legislation in the UK.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially interviewing skills.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to liaise effectively and efficiently with people.
  • Competent in Microsoft office products – PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Calm and confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations.
  • Organised and able to work in a structured fashion.
  • CIPD qualified (level 3) or working towards completion.

As well as being able to call yourself a ‘Native’ here’s some of the other great benefits of working with us;

  • Friends & Family discount on Native stays.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
  • Private Healthcare Scheme
  • Life Assurance

If you’re as passionate as we are about people and beautiful buildings, we'd love to hear from you!
