Background
We have an excellent opportunity for a Domestic Energy Assessor to join our Strategic Asset Management Team. The role is responsible for planning and carrying out energy surveys and improving the data we hold on the homes we manage. The role will also provide energy saving advice to customers and record and report repairs and hazards whilst visiting our customers' homes.

What you'll be doing
Undertake domestic energy surveys to ensure all our homes have a valid Energy Performance Certificate.
Lodge all energy surveys through the Elmhurst Portal using a tablet and EPC software.
Provide relevant energy saving advice to customers whilst visiting their home, to help customers reduce energy costs or manage cold/damp homes.
Working with access protocols, plan and manage work schedule to keep pace with targets.
Analyse and monitor data quality within the Asset Database and implement actions to identified and address issues.
Undertake ad hoc post-refurbishment energy surveys and Home Condition Surveys.
Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard of data quality and customer service and that all statutory and regulatory obligations are met.


More about you. What can you bring?
City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment.
HND in Building Surveying or similar is desirable.
Experience of energy surveying, including stock condition data collection.
Experience of working in housing / construction industry.
Demonstrable knowledge of SAP and its relationship with the built environment.
Technical knowledge and expertise of property and construction disciplines.
Knowledge of resident-focused energy and water saving advice desirable.
Excellent influencing and communication skills and the ability to act with integrity and accountability.
Analytical skills and the numerate ability to identify trends and isolate issues.

When and where you'll be doing it

You will enjoy a 37-hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa £43,000 per annum dependent upon your knowledge, skills and experience.
