Job Introduction

We have an immediate need for Contract Paralegals for a financial litigation project working directly with one of our clients. This is an up to 6-month project with the potential for extension. This role will but will be on hybrid basis in London so easily commutable distance to central London is essential. This project will start immediately so we are looking for candidates who are available or have short notice periods. Please note that this role will require you to work via an umbrella company and is on a day rate basis.

Your Role

• As a Paralegal you will be responsible for the following; 
• Junior fee earning case work including being responsible for your own cases, under supervision.
• Investigating and analysing claims, preparing draft advices.
• Assisting solicitors with preparing trial bundles.
• Instructing experts and carrying out Initial review of expert reports
• Drafting correspondence
• Reviewing discovery documents received from other parties
• Managing key dates
• Your Skills and Experience
• 6 months Legal Assistant / Paralegal experience – ideally gained in financial or banking litigation.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) 
• Accuracy, good organisational skills and flexibility
• Good knowledge of Word and Outlook is required and experience in Excel, PowerPoint, interwoven would be beneficial
