This role is ideally suited to a career minded, ambitious individual who is looking for that unique opportunity to prove what they can do and then be rewarded for it.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our successful Quality Assurance team. This is a home based role.

Role and Responsibilities

Purpose

Working as part of the Quality Assurance function. Responsible for ensuring accurate and reliable information is input into the system, by offering an independent verification of information and process from both a financial and operational perspective. Adding value from a corporate perspective by checking the record properly represents what has been agreed and that it is clear and compliant.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for monitoring and managing QA checks against Order Items and Supply Contracts placed by the various account mgmt. teams across the Inspired Group, always applying a suspiciously curious approach.
  • Ensuring what has been agreed is attached within the Inspired Commercial Agreement and is properly represented on the CRM record, and all elements of the CRM record are complete and aligned. Paying particular attention to making sure there is minimal risk further along the process.
  • Ensuring a client LOAs is attached to the Company in the system, and is complete, valid, and overall compliant.
  • Ensuring the user has demonstrated the Group terms and conditions have been sent to the client, attached to the CRM record, within the inspired commercial agreement, for all contracts placed.
  • Having thoroughly checked the information, update against the CRM record through a series of statuses and notes. The outcome is, it is either a pass or fail, which represents we are happy with the information populated, or there are further questions that need clarifying, either with more information, or evidence attached. Note updating QA returns appropriately in a public space, in a supportive and friendly manner.
  • Responsible for monitoring and managing QA checks against Trade Confirms used to represent energy trading. Ensuring the user(s) have demonstrated a trade request in the form of a trade slip has been submitted, actioned with the Supplier by the trader, and checking that the outcome of the trade has then been communicated back to the client. Specifically validating the price, period, and correct terminology has been applied by both Inspired and the Supplier, and everything agrees back.
  • Responsible for closely monitoring and managing the shared QA mailboxes to be cleared and responded to COB daily.
  • Sound understanding of the different types of contracts, Supplier contract rates, and services Inspired PLC offers to commercial customers.
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Teams, 8x8, Outlook, Excel, Supplier portals, and experience using a CRM. Excellent understanding of Excel applying filtering, pivots, and VLOOKUP. Generally comfortable working with large reports and cross referencing lots of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well organized, good time management and happy to work flexibly around the influx of work due to sales activity and typically busier renewal periods.
  • Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.

Typical Working Day in the QA Team

“When logging on, we typically start with a team Morning Roll Call to plan the day ahead together. Days vary depending on the volumes on the reports, which generally depend on the sales activity the day prior. It will also depend on how busy the shared mailboxes are with any ad-hoc queries and requests. We aim to maintain completing reports due that day and ensure the various shared mailboxes are cleared down with appropriate next actions taken, before the lunch period, and before logging off. Mostly working independently going between the CRM record and the paperwork attached. Cross referencing Excel reports and updating Excel logs, sometimes online portals. Making sure all stakeholders involved are kept up to date and ensuring a full and clear audit trail is kept against the CRM record.”
