This is a new role in our growing marketing team for Saga Money (Personal Finance). We have an expanding financial product portfolio for our over 50’s market. In this role you will be key to delivering the implementation of our Direct Marketing Programme for Saga Money. You will devise the CRM campaigns across email and print, using Adobe Campaign and supporting analytics. 

Your key focus as our CRM Consultant will be to drive profitable demand for our portfolio of personal finance solutions to achieve commercial objectives through the delivery of effective and efficient email marketing and DM campaigns. You will work closely with other business units across Saga Plc and our financial partners. This vacancy is a critical part of our scale up journey and strategy for Saga Money. You can be part of this journey in meeting our ambitious growth plans for Saga Money.

** Remote/home working ** Saga work a hybrid approach requiring some team days in our London office. You will need to be within a reasonable commuting distance to London, Kings Cross Hub to undertake this role.

Main Responsibilities

Joining us as CRM Marketing Consultant for Saga Money, you will be working closely with the Partnerships Marketing Manager and Acquisition Lead. You will be accountable for the following; 

  • To support the design and implementation of our CRM Programme for Saga Personal Finance (online & offline).
  • Support the Marketing Acquisition Lead in designing the contact strategy and acquisition plans to deliver commercial objectives across Saga Money products.
  • Proactively plan and implement email and DM marketing campaigns to support our commercial objectives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to select prospects from the Saga databases for CRM, marketing campaigns and operational comms.
  • Build effective & accurate Adobe workflows to facilitate campaigns.
  • Be a confident user of Adobe Campaign for cross channel marketing.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of all CRM campaigns: from creative brief to fulfilment.
  • Consistently report on delivery and success metrics. (e.g. Response rates, open rates, click throughs, conversions)
  • Be able to recommend changes to the CRM process to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of activity.
  • Ensure all materials are in line with product and partners branding guidelines and fully compliant with financial regulations.

Ultimately, you will be the go-to email and DM data & workflow expert for CRM in our Saga Money marketing team. You will need to ensure campaigns are carried out to a high standard, on time and on budget while proactively working with the wider Saga Personal Finance team, wider Marketing Community and Group Data teams to share learnings, ensure best practice is being applied, with a focus on constant improvement & problem solving.

The Ideal Candidate

To successfully join us as our CRM Marketing Consultant, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Have previously worked as a CRM Executive / CRM Assistant / CRM Consultant and be a confident user on Adobe Campaign & Analytics.
  • Can demonstrate proactive performance and delivery in a B2C marketing role.
  • Can work with new and emerging technologies to deliver change and improvement to the CRM function.
  • Be self-sufficient and able to work independently at pace.
  • Have a flexible approach with a willingness to access additional responsibilities across our team when required.
  • Able to measure campaign results translating data into actionable insights.
  • Able to balance multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Be organised with great time management.
  • Able to follow set processes that comply with a regulated environment.
  • Previous experience in financial services desirable but not essential.
