Universal have a vacancy for a Recruitment Resourcer / Administrator to join our team based in Northampton, Cambridge.
We are a specialist construction recruitment agency providing staff to local and national construction companies on a temporary and permanent basis.
You do not need any previous experience but the key skills we would look for in a candidate would be excellent communication both on the phone & face to face, the ability to organise yourself and prioritise tasks and good IT skills with basic packages such as word & excel.
The main duties of the position initially will be to assist our experienced team of recruiters with day to day processes including:
- Placing advertisements and searching CV's on job boards to find suitable candidates for available roles
- Assisting with the weekly payroll process for our temporary workers
- Checking compliance details of candidates before they start a contract such as right to work documents & appropriate qualifications
- Contacting candidates from our extensive database to discuss live vacancies with them
Longer term there is an opportunity to progress you to more of a trainee sales role if desired where duties would include making calls to existing and new customers to gain new vacancies from them and then matching suitable candidates to fill these positions. You would earn a monthly performance based commission for this role.
