We are looking for a Technical Services Graduate to join our successful Technical Services team.

 

Role

The candidate will be joining the team within Technical Services. As a team we specialise in the design, construction and operation of renewable energy schemes throughout the UK. Our clients are large businesses with complex operational requirements and exacting standards.

Core elements of the role include the preparation and review of the mechanical & electrical designs for renewable energy projects. Working in a close knit team, in a fast paced and evolving market place the role suits a recent graduate looking for an opportunity to develop and refine their skills and knowledge, with significant opportunities to progress through the business.

 

Responsibilities

Core elements of the role include:

  • CAD drawing.
  • Design and specification of materials & systems.
  • Electrical and mechanical design calculations, and;
  • Creation of bills of quantity
  • Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Essential

  • A working knowledge of EXCEL
  • Relevant Degree in the field       

Desirable

  • Experience of CAD drawing packages
  • An understanding of Solar PV, HVAC, AC electrical design and installation requirements

 

Additional Information

Full training will be given for all specialist design software and knowledge required to become a valued member of the team.

The role is working remotely from home, the candidate will be expected to attend regular virtual internal design meetings and external client facing meetings. There will be times when the candidate will be expected to travel for business, as such a full UK driving license is required.
