An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ‘National Account Manager – e-Commerce’ within the Off Trade Retail team. This role will execute the WG&S vision of delivering premium experiences for customers and shoppers, managing the Ocado account and delivering key projects against the e-Commerce strategic growth pillars.
You will work with Ocado to leverage brand growth and becoming the Premium Partner of choice, as well as activating our brands to optimise distribution, sales, visibility, NSV and contribution - within agreed budget and strategic guidelines.
In addition to delivering budget performance, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability for the Company whilst balancing brand equity and value will be key to the role.
What we can offer you
You will be responsible for managing Ocado to ensure that WG&S is the partner of choice, produce customer account plans that integrate with Brand Plans and Channel strategy achieving distribution and brand visibility. You will need to effectively manage customer relations in order to achieve agreed volume, value and account contribution target and develop a mutual joint business plan with the designated customers to deliver continued, sustainable, profitable business growth
You will monitor and review the effectiveness of account plans, making adjustments needed for any new market / trade factors, after agreement with the customer and internal stakeholders, leading and driving critical negotiations with your customers.
Accurate P&L management and producing volume forecasts by brand through the analysis of each designated customer will be key whilst identifying opportunities throughout the year to deliver continued business growth by brand.
You will work with the wider e-Comm team in the UK and Global business to manage and contribute towards specific e-Comm projects, in line with our business strategy, to deliver against our long-term growth ambitions.
Our Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong commercial awareness and proven track record of having the ability to balance commercial delivery and brand building objectives. Analytical capability will be key, making decisions based on turning data evaluation to actionable insight, having the ability to be adaptable, and prioritising effectively.
Strong relationship management skills will be key, with the ability to network across functions influencing and engaging key stakeholders internally and externally.
A high level of IT skills is also essential.
