£10.90 - £11.70 Depending on experience –  Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking Full time Day and Wake Night (37.5 hours per week) Support Workers to join our team in Liskeard. (Various Shift Times Available)

Single service is recruiting for a young man who lives in his own property. He is very sociable and attends various community based activities such as theatre group, swimming, gym . He enjoys cooking and is encouraged to maintain a healthy diet . He is very proud of owning his own home and takes pride in maintaining it to a high standard. The property is located close to all local amenities and is close to main transport links. 24/7 support with sleep ins required. flexible shift patterns.

Our Support Worker roles are immensely rewarding and enjoyable. Every person we support is unique and is supported in their daily lives as they wish, so no two days will be the same. This may include budgeting, shopping, fun days out, as well as assisting the person to maintain relationships with family and friends and be active in their community.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including

  • Prompting service users independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
  • Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking

Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
