Hybrid – 1 day London – may consider fully remote.

As Senior Philanthropy Manger – you will be joining at an exciting time of growth, where income has increased significantly, and the CEO and board are fully behind investing the income and time required to grow the philanthropy programme. This role will manage an engaged portfolio of HNWI’s that have the exciting potential to increase their giving to this globally funding Mental Health charity.

Key duties and responsibilities: -
• Steward existing 5 and 6 figure major donors and cultivate towards repeat gifts
• Build pipeline of new major gifts prospects through introductions from existing networks, Development
• Board and Trustee Board and work with external prospect researchers
• Work with the Head of Development to manage the newly set up Development Board, aiming to raise
• £250k over next 18 months
• Use the support of senior leadership and members of the Board of Trustees to cultivate prospects as needed
• Work with colleagues to identify and scope new high value partnership prospects and application opportunities
• Working closely with the team to build the Development annual budget and KPIs as well as report against
income, expenditure and other targets
• Keep central database up to date
• Contribute to achieving the overall objectives and participate in the development of new organisational strategy.
• Provide other support to the Research team and MQ as required with all prospect actions

Experience required:
- Previous major donor fundraising experience from HNWI’s
- Exceptional communication particularly in understanding and translating complex information and turning it in to
compelling proposals
- Skilled at managing tasks and balancing priorities
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to convey passion for the cause and the work they do
