  • Lead the group wide FP&A process for Procurement. C£1.3bn of spend. Ensuring accurate price forecasting and insight into key movements with effective communication to the commercial function on key themes, challenges and opportunities.
  • Own the Procurement finance FP&A and reporting calendar.  Ensure key timelines are agreed across the business and all actions and processes are allocated against the correct resource and delivered in line with the agreed calendar.
  • Business Partner our Direct and Indirect procurement colleagues. Ad-hoc project involvement support and input on key negotiations.
  • Lead the weekly PPV Reporting for Group, ensure timely and accurate weekly PPV reporting into the site finance teams, consolidated reporting and weekly exec information.  Driving reporting efficiencies by owning a continuous improvement agenda to deliver faster and more streamlined reporting.
  • Provide the business and procurement teams with Weekly PPV Variance Analysis to drive greater understanding of performance, feeding into weekly flash and outturn assumptions.
  • Project lead for developing new methodologies and processes to increase compliance with key procurement processes, in particular driving down cases of PPV2.
  • Responsible for collecting, tracking and analysing key assumptions inputs into the IBP Management process.
  • Ownership of key procurement intelligence system “Mintec”. Be the champion for the data and its application into wider procurement price forecasts. Provide tracking and insight into the Mintec data.
  • Support the Head of Finance – Procurement with the creation of the Monthly Reporting deck for presentation in the month and procurement and commercial SLT reviews
  • Play a lead role in the continuous challenge and insight on MLO pricing (LPF accuracy) Understanding key themes that develop and how this can impact the wider business.
  • Supporting the business on understanding how inflation/deflation is trending across the numerous buying areas, providing detailed Inflation Index tracking.
  • Ad-hoc Project Support for all elements of the procurement function.

What we’re looking for
  • (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) post qualification experience gained within Retail, Manufacturing or FMCG
  • Experience of operational decision support
  • Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate to all levels of the business
  • Ability to build, lead and develop a high performing team
  • Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly in order to meet deadlines and have the drive to deliver results
