The ideal candidate will be experienced in cleaning management within an industrial or production environment. You will love a challenge leading your team whilst adopting a hands-on approach, rolling your sleeves up and being involved on a day-to-day basis. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential together with good computer literacy; you will enjoy using PowerPoint for your team meetings.

Package Description

£28,000pa - £32,000pa + excellent benefits

Location: Enfield, EN3 

Permanent

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw predominantly Monday to Friday, flexibility required
Some evening and weekend work will be required to supervise contractors and / or deliver training to our staff that do not work a standard Monday to Friday

Main Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Plan, organise and coordinate all site services and housekeeping activity
  • Collaboration with all other site department managers to ensure the effective management of the site overall
  • To manage all aspects of performance of an assigned group of direct reports
  • Grow services in order to meet client and commercial expectations whilst maintaining strict budgetary control
  • Continually monitor all cleaning standards and hygiene standards and ensure they are maintained at the highest level
  • Ensure operational excellence within your area of responsibility for labour management and performance
  • Maintain excellent client/customer relationships
  • To deliver team briefs, huddles and meetings as required

The Ideal Candidate

What you bring:

Essential

  • Demonstrate experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level in a company
  • Previous experience of managing and leading a team
  • Previous experience of working in standards driven/compliance environment
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations
  • Ability to prioritise and deploy resources effectively
  • Management knowledge of health & safety and food safety
  • Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards 
  • Analyse problems analytically, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions
  • Knowledge of Sodexo systems – Eprophit, Payroll, Kronos, DMS
