IT Systems Integration Analyst - United Kingdom - ARDAW873436

Purpose of the Role

A fantastic new remote opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic IT Applications Delivery team as a Systems Integration Analyst for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and be responsible for analysing, planning, evaluating, overseeing, configuring, and implementing systems integration plans for all mergers and acquisitions being undertaken by the Ardonagh Advisory segment whilst providing technical guidance and support to business units during the integration process.

This role will report into the Lead Architect so would suit someone looking to grow into an Architect in time with the relevant training.

What you will do

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:

  • Analyse and assess the IT systems of potential acquisition targets, including performing the following activities:
    • Gather and collect requirements using a range of techniques.
    • Provide analysis, reporting, and data gathering, when required to both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Business and System Processes Mapping.
    • Develop recommendations for integration approaches to be considered.
  • Develop strategic plans and action steps to integrate systems within the application delivery architectural framework and systems operating model.
  • Plan, evaluate, oversee, and configure the integration of technological systems once integration recommendations are agreed.
  • Supervise the installation and setup of new systems or advise on the modification of existing ones where replacement of a system is required as part of the acquisition onboarding plan.
  • Provide recommendations on tactics to improve the integration of current and future tools and systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation for security and operational audits.
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to IT systems integration and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that all systems are properly integrated, tested, and operational post-merger/acquisition.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure that all current and future systems are working together efficiently, both among internal departments and with external networks.

Who we are looking for

This opportunity is for a Systems Integration Analyst with an extensive practical track record, preferably in the insurance market as you will need to understand policy administration processes and systems, and, ideally, with a degree in a relevant field. Experience working on mergers and acquisitions projects would be an advantage but is not essential.

We are looking for a motivated individual with strong project management experience together with knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working with SaaS. You must have excellent attention to detail, documentation and communication skills across all mediums, whilst being highly analytical and able to implement problem-solving as required. You will be working under pressure so will need to be able to prioritise tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines, whilst building and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

It is a remote role but some travel to sites across the UK will be required as per business requirements so a valid UK driving licence is essential.

In return you will be welcomed and supported by our Ardonagh family and be joining an organisation that cares about you as a person and your wellbeing. Some of the other benefits are:

  • Holiday entitlement of 28 days plus bank holidays
  • Opportunity to progress your career across the entire Ardonagh family
  • Pensions scheme for when you feel it’s time to retire
  • 24-hour support for physical and mental wellbeing
  • 1 day’s paid volunteering day to give back to our communities
  • The Spotlight Awards, where we shine a light on the brightest talent across our group

We offer genuine potential for both personal and professional development, come and be part of our story and help us shape our future. So, what are you waiting for? Apply today and one of our team will be in touch.

If your application is successful, we will conduct relevant employment checks prior to you beginning employment with us. These will include verifying your recent employment, address, credit history and a standard criminal record check.

Please note: We may close a vacancy prior to the publish end date if the required quality or number of applications has been received. No agencies please
