We are seeking a highly organised, proficient, confident, and meticulous Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive business support to our Group Chief People Officer. The ideal candidate will be tenacious, work well on their own initiative, have a ‘can do’ attitude, will be able to problem solve independently and collaborate on a variety of multi-functional projects with members of the wider EA team both in Ireland and UK.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Complex diary management, scheduling appointments and managing the schedule for regular meetings for all executive team members so that their time is managed for maximum effectiveness.
  • Booking travel and accommodation in accordance with diary requirements
  • Organising events and visits in line with brief/executive requirements to promote the professional image of Greencore Group.
  • Ordering of stationery and supplies for the executive team members to ensure that all necessary resources/logistics are available when required.
  • Schedule site services or third parties to undertake routine or preventative work or to complete office moves to ensure that office facilities are fully functional and provide a safe working environment.
  • Leading projects, under the organisation of events, which implement change and improvement in working practice within the location.
  • Completing and compiling routine reports and undertaking administrative duties to minimise the activities completed by the executive team members.
  • Producing agendas, detailed itineraries and board packs for Greencore Board meetings
  • Supporting, co-ordinating and manage the logistics for shareholders’ meetings.

What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience of operating as a Senior EA for C-Suite executive teams where competing demands needed to be managed  
  • Experience of working in performance-oriented environments with a high need for confidentiality, integrity, and teamwork
  • A degree of flexibility regarding working hours with occasional support and travel off site 
  • Basic budget and contract management knowledge
  • Preferably experience in a legal and/ or company secretariat environment 
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and all other MS Office applications
  • Broad understanding of the Greencore business functions and Group practice
